Hedsor on the River Thames in Buckinghamshire, from William Tombleson's Views of the Thames and Medway, published in London around 1832 to 1834. The plate was drawn by Tombleson and engraved by W. Taylor, and the cartouche reads "Hedsor, Bucks.", with the imprint of Tombleson & Co. at 11 Paternoster Row below. The engraving carries light hand color.
The view looks across the river to the wooded hill below Hedsor House, home of the Boston family, which stands white among the trees. Cottages and a boathouse line the bank. A sailing boat with a small figure stands at the left, a man rows a skiff on the right, and two figures with parasols stand on the shore under a stormy sky.
The scene is set in an elaborate neoclassical border of fasces, masks, medallions with figures and scrolling foliage, which was the series' decorative style.
