Good to know
Are these architectural prints originals?
Yes. Every print was made in its own day, by engraving, etching, aquatint or lithography, for a book, an atlas, a pattern book or a magazine, and is sold as the original sheet. Nothing on this site is a reproduction.
How do you date an architectural print?
By the book or series it comes from. The date shown is the year the sheet was printed, which is often later than the building it shows: a Montfaucon plate of a Roman temple was printed in 1721, an Albertolli ceiling in the 1780s.
Where do the prints ship from?
From Bartele Gallery in Langweer, the Netherlands, flat between rigid boards, insured and tracked, to any country.
Can I return a print?
Yes. You may return any piece within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the price, provided it comes back in the condition in which it was sent.
Which currency am I charged in?
Prices are set in euros. Dollar and pound prices are converted at a recent exchange rate and rounded to the nearest 5. The amount charged is confirmed before payment.
